Nature's Healing Gift -Rainbows.There is nothing more healing than when nature turns a grey day into a Rainbow Day! It is magical that no two observers will ever witness exactly the same rainbow because each will view a different set of drops at a slightly different angle. Here are four inspirational rainbow quotes:

1. (Rainbows chase blues away) - “If the world’s a veil of tears, smile till rainbows span it.”~Lucy Larcom (1824-1893)

2. (Brighten other people’s life) -”Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”~Maya Angelou.

3. (Look for the Positive)“There’s a rainbow in the sky, all the time, don’t be blind.”~Ziggy Marley

4. (Aspire) -”You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down.”~Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977)

Archetypes and Chakras

June 12th, 2013 | Posted by Velda in CHAKRAS

chakras and archetypes

Each chakra has a positive and a negative archetype corresponding to the qualities and challenges associated with that chakra.  The more responsibility we take for our personal archetypes, the more energy we have available for our health, creativity, and joy.  The following information is covered by author Ambika Wauters  in, The Book of Chakras – Discover the Hidden Forces within you:

Sincerity is being open and genuine

Sincerity is the quality of being honest, true and real. When we are sincere, our actions reflect a truthful heart and come from a pure intent.   To be sincere to ourselves, we don’t need to impress others or pretend to be something we are not. We know it is enough to simply be ourselves.

Sincerity is being open and genuine

“Never regret anything you have done with sincere affection;

Nothing is lost that is born of the heart.”

~ Basil Rathbone (1892-1967, British actor)

AFFIRMATION: I am thankful for the gift of Sincerity. It keeps life pure and simple.

belly-breathing releses anger & pain

Belly breathing is good for releasing anger and upsetting thoughts, it’s also useful for pain relief and relaxation in general.  Anger is a form of excessive energy.  By regulating your breathing with the following exercise, you can release this energy and harmonize your mind and body:

Healing may not be so much about getting better,

as about letting go of everything that isn’t you –

all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are.”

moonstone connected to the moon

moonstones for cycle of life & change

Moonstone is a stone of change and new beginnings. It is closely associated with the moon and intuition.  Moonstone is a stone for inner growth and strength.  It is a very personal stone and an excellent stone to use in meditation to understand oneself. Its most powerful effect is that of calming the emotions, promoting intuition, empathy, vivid dreaming, and can enhance psychic abilities.  This gemstone is often called the woman’s stone.  It is excellent for PMS, conception issues, pregnancy, childbirth, and breast feeding.

moonstone for new beginnings and changeTo experience the soothing effects of moonstone, choose five pieces of about the same size to participate in the following MOON- NET exercise: 1. Get comfortable on floor or bed, tape a moonstone on front of each hipbone. Place a moonstone on the front dip of each shoulder.  2. Place the last moonstone touching the top of your head (resting on floor or bed). 3. Shortly there will be a deep relaxation and a soothing energy flowing through the body. 4. After 5 – 10 minutes, remove the stones and remain in this quiet position until ready to get up.

healing sounds of birds singing

Have you taken the time to listen to the healing sounds of birds singing? I am one that loves waking up very early to the sounds of  birds chirping and singing.  It is always a mystery why the beautiful singers are always hidden in the trees, while the crows walk around having no fear even when they are joined by humans traipsing around them.  They continue cawing and squawking to each other.  If you have patience and join in on their conversations, they might even talk with you. These large noisy black birds almost overshadow the singers in the trees, but I have become fascinated and very found of the crows. We learn from them that we can let our voices be heard.  Thank you our fine feathered friends for all the healing sounds you share with us.

If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Dilution not required; suitable for all but the most sensitive skin. Generally safe for children over 2 years of age.

take stairs increase vibrational frequency

Taking stairs at home, work, and especially outdoors dramatically affect your personal vibration. In Melissa Alvarez book, 365 Ways to Raise Your Frequency, she discusses the increased frequency benefits besides physical exercise with her #276 Take The Stairs. How simple to integrate taking stairs as a useful tool to get us into an “increasing frequency” mindset at any point of the day.

Going Up: Concentrate on ways to raise your energy. Focus on being positive and as you climb consider all your options where your increased vibrational frequency is going to be useful. Is it working on a special project, being more outgoing, or reading a book? When you reach the top of the stairs, start putting your positive thoughts into action.

Going Down: Taking the stairs down can accomplish a slightly different type of energy increase. Walking downstairs, release any negativity you have accumulated, and begin re-grounding yourself with each step. Imagine that all stress and excess energy is being released from the soles of your feet into the stairs.

Take the stairs to get a workout for the mind, body, and spirit.”~ Melissa Alvarez
