Nature's Healing Gift - Star Gazing

Stargazing and moonlight walks are highly recommended for cooling the body and the emotions. Therapeutic stargazing can provide a sense of wonder, awe, and spirituality.  Star gazing has proved helpful in treating mood disorders and addictions.

Stargazing can be a powerful healing meditation when looking for answers to deal with fear, panic, and anger from past injuries or struggling with a sense of loss. Also one can find relief when gazing at the stars to clear imprints and heal past traumas.

Today I want to share directions for the Color Breathing Exercise featured in Nevill Drury’s book Creative Visualization. To practice this exercise choose the color healing you want to work with from the Healing Colors provided below.

Color Healing Breathing Exercise1.  Next visualize the color you have selected and continue until it is clear in your inner vision.

2.  Imagine your entire body being bathed in this healing color, maintaining a pattern of breathing deeply, while visualizing the color drawn into your heart center with each inward breath.

3. Visualize the healing color spreading throughout your body and to the areas requiring more healing.

Location:  Between the tendons on the inside of the arm, three finger widths above the wrist crease closest to the palm.

Technique:  Apply acupressure using the tip of your thumb, angled downward toward the middle finger, at the same time support your wrist and lower arm with the fingers of the same hand. Move the thumb with a tiny circular pulsing motion, for two to three minutes. Repeat for the other arm.

Nature's healing rain energy

We already know how the trees and plants become revitalized from a lovely rain shower.  Melissa Alvaraez writes in her book 365 Ways to Raise Your Frequency, how getting caught in a rain shower can be fun, cleansing, invigorating, and raise one’s energy.

Nature's Healing Rain Energy

When was the last time you walked or played in the Rain?  Maybe it time to return to your youth.  Find an opportunity to play in the rain.  Raise your hands up in the air,  face the sky, spin, or dance, and bathe in the rain.  Feel the energy from the rain shower, the grounding energy from the earth and playful energy from the exercise.

Maybe what is more healing for you is to be lulled by the sound followed by the unique fresh, clean fragrance after the rain.  We can choose how to connect with rain to bring our energy up or to calm us down.

Black Tourmaline Energy Earth Net

July 12th, 2013 | Posted by Velda in GEMSTONES

black tourmaline energy earth net

Create a strong energy connection to the earth and realign the body’s energies by using eight pieces of Black Tourmaline for an energy alignment layout. This energy net help tensions in bones and muscles relax and physical balance improve.  This connection to the earth is a prerequisite for effective grounding and protective support.  Energy net is also useful after travel because it can reduce effects of jetlag.

1.  Use a green cloth to lie on (white sheet for second choice).  It is best to have the layout where your head will be to the north.

2.  The eight Black Tourmalines will be aligned to the same imaginary point in the center of the body.  Put four tourmalines pointing inwards in a cross – one above the head aligned with one between the feet.  The other two on each side outside of arms midway down the body.

3.  Place the remaining four tourmalines as shown on the layout in the above picture so all are aligned and cross at the same point in the center of the body.

4.  Lie down and rest inside this cross-shaped energy pattern.  Remain in the energy net for five to ten minutes, then when you have removed the Black Tourmalines, spend at least 15 minutes resting before returning to normal activity.

Tuesday's healing word courage

Courage: The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face difficulty, danger, and pain. At times we need courage to accept the truth, and pick ourselves up after a mistake, ready to make amends and try again.

“Life shrinks or expands

in proportion to one’s courage.”

~ Anais nin, author 1903-1977

Tuesday's healing word courage

I reach beyond my comfort zone, not by becoming fearless, but through the practice of courage.

I am thankful for the gift of courage.  It allows me to spread my wings.

I have courage to do the right thing.

I have courage.  I listen to my heart.

Balloon Letting Go Exercise

Sometimes it takes a unique and off-the-wall exercise to help release deeply seated emotional blockages.  Alla Svirinskaya in her book Energy Secrets The Ultimate Well-Being Plan, shares the Balloon Exercise to let go of the past.  She claims this exercise will help get rid of old matter which helps bring balance.  You will need a pack of balloons any size or color and a needle before starting Balloon Exercise below:

emotional release exercise

1.  Blow up balloon slowly. With each exhale, breathe out all the unpleasant emotions and memories you have, that you want out of your system.

2.  Once balloon is fully inflated, and full of your old “stuff”, tie a knot in it.

balloon emotional release exercise3.  Take balloon in one hand and the needle in the other.  Close your eyes, breathe, and imagine a situation that has burdened you.  When your emotional response becomes almost overwhelming, pop the balloon!

Balloon emotional release exercise4.  It is important not to premeditate when to pop the balloon.  Let it happen almost spontaneously.  If you can manage this, you will have a very powerful reaction.  The sudden sound will free up the energy and push the blockage out of the aura.  Keep the pack of balloons handy for more emotional release surgery!

Forgiveness Affirmation Exercises

Forgiveness Affirmation Practices

On a previous Tuesday’s Healing Word post we looked at forgiveness. Learning to let go and to forgive is to break the bonds with your past and go forward to your future.  The secret of forgiving someone is not for them - it is for you! Listed below are several helpful affirmation exercises followed by examples of Forgiveness Affirmations.  Remember affirmations are the same as doing any type of repetitive exercise to change or learn a new behavior. I invite you to choose one of the Affirmation Exercises to practice FORGIVENESS!

forgiveness affirmation exercises

1.  Select and recite a forgiveness affirmation in the morning, at midday, in the evening.

2. Write or say a forgiveness affirmation at least 40 times daily 40 days.  It takes 40 days to impress upon the unconscious “reacting” mind all that you desire and dream. It then becomes automatic behavior in the conscious “acting” mind. (Helpful Hint – put 40 beads or beans in a cup and take out a bean when you say each affirmation. You will not have to focus on counting your affirmations.)

I let go and forgive those that have harmed me. I AM free!

I forgive my family and embrace them with Love and compassion.

I forgive everybody and everybody forgives me. I now go forward to live my life.

I am forgiving, loving, gentle and kind and am safe in the knowledge that life loves me.

Forgiveness brings me emotional and mental freedom.

I feel empowered when I forgive myself and others.

I release the past.
