Tuesday's Healing Word - PatiencePatience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.  This is something I will strive continually to achieve.  It was  suggested I pick a strong healing word today.  I thought about it and realized it takes a great deal of strength to trust and practice the following:

Color Acupressure & EO for BroncitisFollowing yesterday’s color acupressure technique for asthma, lets continue today  working on bronchitis and chest colds with color acupressure.  This technique and many others can be found in Lilian Verner-Bonds Book, The Complete Book of Color Healing. 

Here are the directions (same as the Asthma Technique)

1.  Locate color pressure point on hands and start gentle pressure.  It doesn’t make any difference which hand is treated first.

2.  Close your eyes and visualize you are running Indigo color into the pressure point.

3.  Repeat the color counseling affirmation (at the bottom of illustration).

4.  Continue treatment for five minutes at a time.  More serious conditions may require attention three times a day until relief is attained.

Color Acupressure for AsthmaI wanted to review in the next few days some of the Color Acupressure techniques shown in Lilian Verner-Bonds book, The Complete Book of Color Healing, because it is asthma and cold season.

Color Acupressure Directions:

1.  Locate the  hands color pressure points as shown on the illustration.  Take the left hand and start a gentle pressure on the right hand.

2.  Close your eyes and visualize running the healing color orange in each of the three acupressure points on both hands.

3.  Repeat the color counseling affirmation.  Continue treatment for five minutes at a time.  It may be that only one application is required.  More serious conditions may require attention three times a day until relief is attained.

Moonstone Healing Grid

Moonstone Healing Grid

The Moonstone Healing Grid is a soothing layout, especially beneficial for releasing stress and tension and for easing PMT. It is also believed to enhance fertility.

You will need 5 Moonstones - either tumbled, polished or rough.  Choose the color of Moonstones that speak to you.

Moonstone Healing Grid

1.  Place a Moonstone on the front of each hipbone, you may have to tape them in place.

2.  Place further Moonstones in the dip of each shoulder by the armpit.

3.  Place the final Moonstone just touching the top of the head.

4.  Lie and relax in this position for about ten to fifteen minutes.

5.  You should begin to feel a soothing energy flowing through the body.

6.  Remove the Moonstones and allow yourself as much time as needed to continue relaxing.

7.  This healing grid may also enhance creativity and intuition.  Please enjoy.

Headache Foot Massage PointsHow to Apply Thumb Pressure to Reflexology points:  Press and hold the points with your thumb. Apply gentle pressure at first.  Advanced techniques are performed by applying small semi-circular movements, walking with your thumb along the reflexology points like taking small steps, or simply rubbing the thumb slightly up and down.

Timing: Apply pressure to each point of the affected area for a minute or two and no longer.  It is wise to release these energy blocks over a span of a few days or weeks.  Always massage both feet.

If the headache is caused by stress and tension, first try to relax by taking a warm bath and  some deep breaths.  After, apply pressure to the points on the inside area of the big toe and on the fleshy part on the center of the toe. Finally, apply pressure to the root of the big toe.

For sinus headache: The fleshy centers of all the toes and the tips of the toes and outer edges of the big toe.

Eye strain headache: The point between the second and third toe bones at the base of the toes. Also rub the root of the second and third toes.

Headache from shoulder and neck tension: Apply pressure to the neck area and shoulder area.
