Spirit Animal Guide - Turkey

Tomorrow being Thanksgiving, I decided it would be appropriate to discuss the animal spirit guide TURKEY.  According to Steven D. Farmer, PhD in his book Animal Spirit Guides:

Animal Spirit Guide TurkeyIf TURKEY shows up, it means:

2.  Perform some acts that honors the earth.

3.  Volunteer time in selfless service for something you want to support.

Call on TURKEY when: Spirit Animal Guide - Turkey

1.  You’re feeling overwhelmed or disillusioned with materialism.

2.  You are prompted to donate your time and energy to a worthwhile cause.

3.  Plan a sharing function, where attendees are willing to exchange helpful ideas.

IAnimal Spirit Guide Turkeyf TURKEY is your POWER ANIMAL:

1.  You do your best to help others in need and are a very communal person.

2.  You prefer being near forested areas, but are adaptable in many environments.

3.  You may appear awkward, but you’re quick and alert when necessary.

Gift of theThird Eye Kiss

Gift of the Third Eye Kiss

A kiss on the Third Eye (Brow Chakra) can be an amazing giving and receiving gift of loving gratitude.  It is an uplifting experience.  The 3rd Eye Kiss activiates the pineal and pituitary glands,  which brings a sense of security and well-being to the person receiving this gift. Kissing the brow is mentioned in many ancient scriptures.Gift of the Third Eye Kiss

I invite everyone to practice sharing and giving 3rd Eye kisses with your loved ones.  It is easy.   Kiss center of the forehead between their eyebrows with thoughts of gratitude and compassion.  If you can’t be with all members of your family or close friends during this holiday season, close your eyes and visualize giving them a truly powerful long distance kiss on their brow. Acupressure Points for Arthritis

Use the following sequence of acupoints daily to reduce joint inflammation and increase mobility:

1. Hold the point LI 4 on your right hand. LI 4 is located in the webbing between the thumb and index finger. Move your finger up the webbing (towards the wrist) to the area where the bones meet, then press towards the index finger bone. Hold for several minutes, then hold the same point on the left hand.

Goddess Eurzulie's Pain Release RitualEurzulie is the Haitian Goddess of sensitivity.  She represents love, beauty, the ideal woman, and the moon.  Her symbol is a heart, her colors are pink, blue, white and gold.  She has also been associated with various bodies of water, such as rivers and streams.  The following is Eurzulie’s Ritual called:

Release That Pain!

On a moonlit evening, fill a bath with warm water and a few drops of sweet-scented oil.  Add a cup of sea salt.  Enter the bath and, while soaking, use your finger to write your name on the surface of the water as you repeat twelve times:

I am a part of the waters of life.

Where they flow, I will go,

Ending discord, hurt, and strife.

Feel relaxed and at ease.  Float like a child in the womb.  Feel your insecurites being absorbed by the healing waters.  Let the water drain out and know that any negative energy will be washed away, as tears release pain and wash away sadness.Goddess Eurzulie's Pain Release Ritual

Animal Spirit Guide - Caterpillar

Several weeks ago my daughter and I were walking through our local botanical garden and we came upon a woolly caterpillar.  I was immediately taken back to my childhood and being so thrilled when seeing a woolly brown on the trail.  So concerned it might not make it to safety, I picked it up carefully. I was tickled the beautiful brown and red-orange beauty felt confident to crawl in my hand and not roll up in a protective ball.  I then did what all caterpillar lovers would do and placed it in the green belt to find it’s chosen location to start spinning a cocoon.

Animal Spirit Guide - CaterpillerCaterpillar Spirit Animal:

The caterpillar represents new birth and is a symbol of good luck.

When visited by caterpillar, know that a transformative change will occur.  It is when we give birth to new ideas and creativity.  This stage teaches us the importance of patience and that all things will come to fruition in nature’s time.

Caterpillars signify a need for a quiet approach to our activities and endeavors. Their visit  may even indicate that a person or persons are blocking our growth or serve as a reminder that we must look at things and people around us realistically at this time. Failure to do so will slow down our progress.Spirit Animal Guide Caterpillar

Standing In The Forest Meditation

November 13th, 2014 | Posted by Velda in MEDITATIONS & MUDRAS

Standing In The Forest Meditation

This meditation is based on imitating the characteristics of a tree.  When you walk through a forest of trees do you consider how the trees stand still and upright, with their roots running deep into the ground?  Do you feel the synergy between the plants and animals? Would you like to be one with the trees?  I invite you to practice the following meditation in the moonlight or sunrays to experience more FOREST  AWARENESS:

Standing In The Forest Meditation

1.   During forest meditation, focus on becoming one with the natural world.

2.  Stand absolutely still and maintain that posture for as long as possible.

3.  Visualize the mystical and magical qualities of the forest.

4.  Listen for the harmonizing sounds of the neighboring animals.

5.  When ready to emerge from the forest, take a deep breath and continue walking.

6.  Hopefully you saw, felt, and heard more by standing still and being one with the trees.
