I decided to select a crystal card from The Crystal Deck, by Amanda Samson, to share about today.  Interesting enough, I picked Unakite,  one of my favorite jaspers.  The author writes the key words describing this stone are ’Decisions, Expression, Releasing’. Unakite is a made up of a combination of three minerals: Green Epidote, Pink Feldspar and Quartz.  These minerals combine to enhance this jasper’s role in uncovering what holds us, dissolving the blocks and raising our self esteem.   Unakite  doesn’t work in a rush, rather it sustains a gentle steady release of feelings and encourages us to express them in a healing and helpful manner.

Big Toes Relieves Face PainMassaging the Chinese Reflexology points for the face relieves headache or migraine pain.  This might surprise you that the top of big toes corresponds to the face, all the way from the forehead to the neck. Massaging this point is best for just below the eyes, in your cheeks, the jaw area and the front of your face.  Use your thumb to rub the top of your big toe, side to side, working your way from the base of the toenail to the base of the toe. When you get to the bottom of the toe, start again at the top. Repeat for 30 to 60 seconds.

 

Big Toes Relieve Migraine PainThe Chinese Reflexology point for Migraines (temporal area of your head) is located on the inside of your big toe between the big toe and second toe.  If you are experiencing headache or migraine pain on the left side of your head, rub the Chinese Reflexology point on your RIGHT foot and vice versa if it’s on the right side of your head. The reason why you rub the opposite foot is because the energy meridians cross over at the neck and thus, flow through the opposite sides of your head. If you’re feeling pain on both sides, rub the points on both of your feet.

You can also rub this point daily even when you don’t have pain. The consistent massage will help the Qi to flow more smoothly through your temporal area and thus, help to alleviate your symptoms over the long-term.  To massage this point, use your thumb to press and rub side to side on this area. Start at the tip of your toe and work your way down. When you get to the base of the toe, pick up your thumb, place it back at the top of the toe and repeat. Massage for 60 seconds to help smooth the flow of Qi.

Here is what Amy Zerner & Monte Farber shared about Atlantia in their Goddess Guide Me Divine Wisdom For Your Head, Heart, and Home.  Atlantia is a conception of the attributes that would have been ascribed to the Goddess by women and men of the mythical lost continent of Atlantis.  In their writing,  Atlantia is Goddess of the Unexpected and the Atlantean Goddess of Invention.  She, ultimately, represents the completely independent female half of a partnership with an equally independent male.

The following Is Atlantia’s ritual and chant: MAKE THAT CHANGE!

Goddess Wisdom-Atlantia's Ritual Chant1.  Use at lease three stones or crystals to form a triangle on the ground large enough for you to sit within it cross-legged.  Hold a small drum, rattle or other percussion instrument, which represents woman’s connection to the rythyms of life.

'Bridge To Healing for Emotional Issues

It is time to re-visit my favorite small book with immense information and exercises for cell-level healing.   Today we will look at the  exercise for moderate emotional issues featured in Cell-Level Healing The Bridge from Soul to Cell, by Joyce Whiteley Hawkes, Ph.D.   She points out that in cases of severe emotional trauma, it is crucial to seek psychological treatment in conjunction with skilled spiritual or energy healers.

The following exercise will help moderate emotional upsets where the situation and/or person(s) troubling you shift into less staggering proportions.  The cells in your body will begin to receive messages of the return to equilibrium, and the biochemistry of high alert will return to normal.

Bridge To Healing For Emotional Issues

'Bridge to Healing' for Emotional Issues1.  Visualize bringing yourself back to a center within yourself, a calm and protected inner space where you are in touch with your spiritual resources.

2. Once centered, place yourself within the image of a personal safe place such as a garden or meadow that is protected by a gate, a wall, and if you choose guardian angels.

3.  From this safe place, imagine the person or situation you are concerned about.  Visualize spirals of clear light around them bringing blessing, harmony, and resolution.  Do not try to make 'Bridge to Healilng' for Emotional Issuesthe outcome specific, but with trust, place the event or person(s) in the hands of how you personally experience Universal Healing or Creative Force.

4.  Stay with the visualization until you feel a drop in tension, a relaxation into a less agitated or fearful state of mind.  Continue to deepen the feeling of relaxation and the associated images with the intention to reach every cell in the body.'Bridge to Healing' for Emotional Issues

5.  Now the action portion of your cells, has shifted out of rapid production of ‘fight or flight’ hormones.  This means that the communication system between cells is now also shifting out of the highly alert mode back toward normal.

6.  When you feel the exercise is complete, see yourself alone in your special inner space.  Surround yourself with glowing spirals of light.  Actively accept blessing and renewal.  Consciously depart from your inner space of safety, remembering that you can return anytime you wish.
