If Elephant Shows Up It Means:

That we must nurture ourselves first before helping those weaker or less fortunate. We need to trust our senses and focus on the whole picture. This could mean unearthing buried memories, facing them, and then letting them go. When an Elephant crosses our path it is a reminder to call on Elephant Medicine when needed. ( Elephant Medicine is listed on the image below.)

You feel things deeply and respond to those feelings from a place of inner knowing. Family is very important to you, especially the very young and the very old. You have a soft spot for the weak and the helpless.  Loyalty is your strong suit and you remain loyal in spite of difficult circumstances in all situations.

If Elephant has come to in your Dream:

–To see an elephant in your dream indicates that you need to be more patient or more understanding of others. Or perhaps there is a memory that you are holding for too long. You need to let go of the past.

–To dream that you are riding an elephant indicates that you are in control of your subconscious and aspects that you were once afraid of.

–To dream that you are afraid of the elephant suggests that there is an enormous problem that you are afraid to confront.

–To dream that you are an elephant suggests that you need to make your opinions and views known. You need to be more vocal and voice your ideas. Express yourself.

My Favorite Elephants:

After visiting Southern India, like many others, Ganesha  stole my heart.  This is one of India’s most beloved deities.  Ganesha is revered as remover of obstacles, animal spirit guide elephant protector, patron of arts and sciences. Ganesha is the only Hindu God to be associated in a “physical”sense with the most powerful sacred sound AUM which is the symbol of divine presence.

I was fortunate to receive a blessing by a Shiva Temple elephant.  If I close my eyes, I can still imagine feeling the trunk touch the top of my head.

Elephant Affirmation:

I now find that all obstacles in my path are removed with ease & joy.
