Tuesday's Healing Word-Rituals (Healthy)

ritual is a ceremony or action performed in a customary way.  It can be  any act or practice regularly repeated in a set precise manner  to improve physical, mental or spiritual health.  Each morning I get up very early prepare my breakfast latte and my ‘Dave’s Killer Bread’ toast and begin my morning reading before my walk.  I don’t think of this as a habit, it is my Healthy Morning Ritual.

Tuesday's Healing Word-Rituals (Healthy)

“Rituals of healing have a profound sense of sacred.

When we use them to renew the fabrics of our lives

that become unraveled

by change, chaos, illness, and death,

a sense of balance and harmony emerge that reconnect

our energies and meet our needs of the moment.”

Affirmations to Rid Chakra 'Demons'

There are emotions and states that are able to close down chakras, if they’re not processed adequately. Anodea Judith calls them ‘demons’ in her book, Eastern Body, Western Mind. The demons affect the ‘rights’ that are associated with the chakras, which are listed below:

1. Root Chakra:  D- Fear;  R-The right to be here    2. Sacral Chakra:  D-Guilt; R-The right to feel
3. Solar Plexus:  D-Shame;  R-The right to act    4. Heart Chakra: D-Sorrow; R- The right to love and be loved
5. Throat Chakra; D-Lies; R-The right to speak and hear truth    6. Brow Chakra; D-Illusion; R-The right to see
7. Crown Chakra; D-Attachment; R-The right to know
Affirmations To Rid Chakra 'Demons'
Using affirmations helps rid the chakra ‘demons’.  By working with affirmations, one becomes more aware of their emotions and feelings and chakra healing begins.  Are you ready to join me in the 15 day challenge?

Animal Spirit Guide-Dall Sheep (RAM)

The RAM covers many of the Bighorn Sheep but I want to focus on Dall Sheep of Alaska.    I have had the pleasure to watch these magnificent snowy white creatures grazing on the steep sides of a mountain.  It almost looks like an impossible feat.  Following is what Steven D. Farmer, Ph.D. writes about RAM, in his book Animal Spirits:

Animal Spirit Guide-DallSheep (RAM)If RAM shows up, it means:

1.  Take steps to correct something that is out of balance in your life.

2.  Right time to pursue intellectual or educational interests and activities, so make plans to do so.  You are ready for new challenges.

3.  You’re  about to go through a spiritual initiation leading to an emergence of  a different sense of yourself.

Call on RAM when:

1.  You need a boost so that you’ll feel stronger and more powerful.

2.  You’re dealing with a challenging or stressful situation and want to maintain a sense of balance.

3.  You’re at the beginning of a new project or relationship and want to leap ahead while keeping yourself grounded at the same time.Animal Spirit Guide-Dall Sheep (RAM)

If RAM is your POWER ANIMAL:

1.  You are very confident and believe in yourself and your abilities.

2.  You keep things to yourself and rarely communicate what you’re thinking or feeling.

3.  You are very imaginative and have a great deal of curiosity that increases as you mature, and you are willing to pursue whatever attracts your attention.

4.  You are spontaneous, willing to move quickly when a new opportunity presents itself.

Goddess Wisdom – Abeona

March 5th, 2015 | Posted by Velda in AFFIRMATIONS | GODDESS WISDOM

Goddess Wisdom - AbeonaAbeona—Goddess of Departures

Abeona is a goddess of Ancient Rome.  Her  name comes from the Latin verb abeo, “to depart, go away, or go forth”.  She was believed to especially guard children as they took their first steps away from home to explore the world.

Goddess Abeona  supports us as we break out of our comfort zone and enter into new levels of independence, self-discovery and personal responsibility, which concurs with the added meaning of abeo, ”to die, disappear, or be changed”.

In the Goddess Inspiration Oracle Guide, author Kris Waldherr writes, “In the eyes of the universe, we are all children. Whenever we start something new, it is as if we are learning to walk for the first time. We may stumble initially.  But if we persist, we will discover new vistas beyond what we originally expected”.

I am new at studying these feminine deities and with each one they quickly become one of my favorites.  I love that Abeona is also known for protecting  travelers.  It is very reassuring  to me,  knowing she will be watching over me throughout any of my future  travels and adventures.

Shower Yourself with Appreciation Stars

The author of The Mindful Woman, Sue Patton Thoele, gives us gentle practices for restoring calm, finding balance and opening our hearts.  She brings the child out in us with the practice of appreciating what we do and say, or refrain from doing or saying with the reward of a GOLD STAR.  Lets say your dealing with some depression or grief, you may GOLD STAR yourself for getting out of bed that day, or the boss or the kids or the husband is driving you crazy, you deserve at least one GOLD STAR for not raising your voice. GO FOR THE GOLD!

Animal Spirit Guide-Camel

Animal Spirit Guite - Camel

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN VISITED BY EITHER OF THESE CAMEL SPIRIT GUIDES?

Dromedary is the name for one-hump camels. This type of camel is common to Africa and the Middle East.  Bactrian camels are native to the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, and aside from the obvious difference of the number of humps, are much more mild-mannered than their hot-tempered dromedary kin.

Today I was drawn to the Camel Animal Spirit and wanted to share from, Animal Spirit Guides, by Steven D. Farmer, Ph.D. the following:

If CAMEL shows up, it means: 1. It’s time to trust your own intuition for guidance. 2. You have more energy and durability for the task ahead than you think you do.  3. The road ahead may be difficult because you won’t have support from everyone.  However, you must take it with complete trust that you have everything you need within you to succeed with your endeavors.

Call on CAMEL when: 1. When you need to replenish your energy and nourish yourself.  2.  You are about to embark on a new adventure, a literal or metaphorical journey that will take you into unknown territory where you want to feel stability in spite of the shifting sands around you.

If CAMEL is your POWER ANIMAL: 1.  You’re remarkably adaptable, with considerable inner strength.  2.  Although you can be unpredictable, you’re generally very patient and kind.  3.  You remain consistently positive amidst challenging times or experiences.

Tuesday's Healing Word Reflection

The definition of  the word Reflect is to think of something very carefully.  The definition of Reflection is a thought, idea, or opinion formed or a remark made as a result of meditation  consideration of some subject matter, idea, or purpose.  I have reflected for the last few days surrounding my birthday.  What was so interesting …I realized ‘every day is a birth of a different day and I have chosen to reflect on the following’:

Excerpts from the book, Touchstones:

~author Charlene Costanzo

“The gift of talent includes many special abilities…

We discover them as we grow and develop.

A tree is an apt symbol of talent.

The trunk represents the overall gift of talent.

The branches represent our many growing special abilities.

A tree in bloom symbolizes that our special abilities are being used.”Tuesday's Healing Words Nurture Talent
