Your Personal Year Number & Color

Calculating Personal Year NumberI am fascinated with the possible messages from numbers and decided to share how to calculate your Personal Year Vibration Number as shown in Louise Hay’s book, Numbers & Colors.  First we need to know what the Universal Number is for 2017, by adding the four digits:  2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 10 (1 + 0 = #1).  In numerology, you continue reducing numbers until you have a single digit.  The Universal Year #1 represents the start of a fresh new cycle – a new 9 year cycle of creativity, learning and growth.

Calculating Your Personal Year Number

Add together the birth month + the birth day + current Universal Year = Personal Year Vibration Number. Remember to reduce the result to a single digit by adding together the digits of the sum and doing so repeatedly until the sum is less than 10.  Here is an example: 5 (for May) +12 (for birth day) + 1 (Universal Year 2017) = 18 (1+8 = #9  Personal Year Vibration).  If your calculations for personal vibrations total an 11 or 22, do not reduce these numbers to a 2 or 4.  The numbers 11 and 22 are considered Master Numbers. They indicate that you are being given an opportunity to operate for that period on a higher vibration.  Write them as “11/2″ or “22/4″.   You then have a choice of being the reduced 2 or 4 rather than 11/2 or 22/4 (see options below).

Candle Colors Healing Chart

Candle Colors are based on the same principle as that of color therapy. Different colors have different frequencies which, in turn, have different effects on the human psyche.  Candles can also be fragrant and the different fragrances can  reflect differently on one’s feelings and emotions.   We have looked at candle exercises and meditations in the past.  Today I wanted to share the following Candle Color Chart and each color’s meaning and use for easy references in the future.Candle Color Healing Chart

Reminder:  Never use the breath to extinguish a candle flame. This affects the frequency of the ending part of the candle burning session. Use a metal cup or flame snuffer made for this purpose.

Eating Red Grounds Root Chakra

When we are feeling ungrounded, it is the best time to look at what foods will help balance our Root Chakra.  Author Deanna M. Minich, Ph.D.,C.N. shares a great deal of knowledge about the healing vibrations of food in her book Chakra Foods for Optimum Health.  She points out that root vegetables transfer grounding energy to our body through the Root Chakra.  Much like the conditions they grow in, root vegetables help us to nestle into our internal, lower core and become connected to earth’s vibration.

Even though the author points out that root vegetables and red meat are the most effective grounding foods, red fruits and vegetables also provide the vibrational rate needed to restore our ability to ground.   What is so amazing is that this vibration can be absorbed visually by both looking at red fruits and vegetables as well as physically consuming them.

Remember when our mothers said to us as children, “Eat Your Vegetables”.  The author writes in her book, “If you are struggling with being grounded and feeling safe, eating foods to support these functions are beneficial.”  She suggests that we incorporate Root Chakra grounding foods at every meal so that our daily, earthly existence feels complete.Vegetables/Fruits Ground Root Chakra

Bridge To Healing-Your Core Color

Bridge to Healing - Your Core Color

It is so fascinating to think about the vibrational energy of color.  In the book Cell-Level Healing-The Bridge from Soul to Cell, author Joyce Whitely Hawkes, Ph.D., shares about our Core Color.  She describes it as a beacon of inner light that is one of the sources of healing for our cells, translating the frequency vibrations of health to the body.  The author illustrates some Core Colors shown below and possible corresponding attributes.  You may also find other interpretations regarding the healing qualities of the different colors.

Bridge to Healing - Your Core Colors

I have included several methods that the author suggests to use when wanting to identify your Core Color.  It might be helpful to know that The Core Color is perceived as a cylinder of light above the full length of the spine.

Bridge to Healing - Your Core ColorIdentifying Bridge To Healing

•  During meditation, you may see a bright color inside your head.  Deepen your meditation to focus on the inside of your body in the area just above the spine.  If the color persists, you can work with is as your Core Color.

•  At times, you may be flooded with compassion, clarity, or insight, or all of these qualities at once.  If there is an accompanying color, the quality and the color will be linked vibrationally.

•  Someone else may become aware of your Core Color (for example during a healing session).  When you are in touch with your true Core Color, you will feel joyful, peaceful, and full of energy.

•  You may want to construct your own chart and notice your personal relationship with color.

Color Candle HealingDoing color healing with candles is quite easy and very therapeutic.  The following is helpful information regarding what candle colors to use for healing, guidelines for candle burning, and the Color Candle Triangle Treatment:

Color Candle HealingCandle color and their use in healing:

White—For cleansing, use to purify any event or area. White is spiritual, it is soothing during pregnancy for mother and fetus.

Purple— Dispels negativity, soothes paranoia.

Green— Use to increase vitality and stamina

Orange—Use to sooth ragged nerves

Red— Is best for all healing.Color Candle Healing

Guidelines For Candle Burning:

1.   The color you choose is determined by what is needed.

2.  Candles should be rubbed, in one direction only, with a white all cotton fabric to rid any accumulated negativity.  Use healing candles for only healing.

3.  Burn candles away from flammable objects. Never use the breath to extinguish a candle flame. This affects the frequency of the ending part of the candle session.  Use a metal cup or flame snuffer.

4.  100-percent-beeswax candles have a uniquely fresh smell, which is distinctly different from paraffin.

Color Candle HealingHealing Color Candle Burning Treatment:

1.  Recommend starting with a short meditation to clear energies to help you focus.

2.  Choose the appropriate color, remember red is good for all healing sessions.

3.  Arrange candles in a triangle formation.  Sit in the middle of the triangle.  State your intent of healing clearly.

4.  Take three deep slow breaths.

5.  Begin to concentrate and visualize the healing taking place.  Usually 10 to 15 minutes will be enough time inside the candle grid.

Closing Candle Healing Treatment:Color Candle Healing

1.  When finished with session,  extinguish the flame of each candle by using a metal cup or flame snuffer.

2.  Keep in mind that some candle healing might need to be repeated over a period of days.

3.  Place candles in an area that will not be disturbed. Color Candle Healing should always be performed in a low traffic area.

4.  Do not choose a place where there is a TV, radio noise or disturbances of any kind.

Color Energizing the Spinal Chakras

July 8th, 2015 | Posted by Velda in CHAKRAS | COLORS

Color Energizing The Spinal Chakras

Energizing the chakras can be accomplished with a simple hands-on visualization technique found in The Complete Book of Color Healing by Lilian Verner-Bonds.  The chakras are often described as a rotating wheel or vortex of energy.  In the following exercise you may find it helpful to visualize them as such:

Color Energizing the Spinal Chakras1.  Close your eyes and visualize the color corresponding to the chakra you wish to enliven.

2.  Place both hands over your eyes and visualize that particular color flowing into the palms of your hands and energizing them.

3.  Now put both hands over the chakra area on the front of your body and visualize the color following into the body, directing the color through to the spinal chakra point. (See illustration)

4.  Repeat the same procedure for any or all of the remaining chakras, usually for three minutes at a time, to align, restore, harmonize, and balance, as desired.

5.  Remember, this simple exercise  can be used to give an overall boost to the system, focus healing on a specific area of the body, or to strengthen the dimension of life associated with a particular chakra.

Rainbow Healing Visualization

May 14th, 2015 | Posted by Velda in COLORS | ENERGY HEALING

 Rainbow Healing Visualization

Rainbow Healing Visualization Technique:

Rainbow Healing Visualization1.  Sit in a comfortable chair.  You will only need to practice this visualization technique for 3 to 5 minutes in the beginning. Once you are comfortable with the technique and know which color you need, you can individualize the color and work with only one at a time.

2.  Breathe deeply and evenly, feeling the cleansing power of oxygen permeating your body’s cells as you inhale, and the release of carbon dioxide waste as you exhale. Conscious, deep breathing cleanses the blood and cells of the body.

3.  Visualize the Crown Chakra (at the top of your head) and begin to imagine it opening as though it were the lens of a camera. Ask the Universe for all the color rays of rainbow energy to flow down through this chakra.  These rainbow colors are the red, orange, yellow, green, rose, blue, indigo, violet, silver, gold, white, and black rays. There is also ultra-red and ultra-violet. State your intent for healing, then invite the colors to flow from the Universe and go to where each color is needed.

4.  Visualize them entering your bloodstream through the arteries and the cells of your entire body. This only takes a few moments to move throughout your body. Rainbow Healing Visualization

5.  If you have a specific problem you wish to work on, ask for the colors to infuse that particular area of the body. The body listens to every thought you think, so just by stating what you want, it will happen. This thought/body connection is very important to know, because your every negative thought makes negative things occur, and every positive thought you have, takes the body to higher levels of consciousness.

6.  When completing this exercise, you will feel more balanced.  Remember to drink plenty of water and continue practicing color healing visualization.

FYI:  Today it is widely accepted that healing with color addresses the five functions of the human body – physical, metabolic, emotional, mental and spiritual. Watch for more on the powers of color therapy in the future.

Color Candle Rainbow Healing

Color Candle Rainbow Healing

Candle therapy can be used to unite the powers of mind, body, and spirit. Lilian Verner-Bonds shares in her book, The Complete Book of Color Healing, lighting a colored candle releases energy into the atmosphere.  The color vibration is absorbed into the auric field and transmitted into the physical body.  It is an interesting fact that the colors of our seven major chakras are also the rainbow colors.

The following exercise called, Super Rainbow Candle Healing, is found in the author’s book:

Color Candle Rainbow Healing1.  Place a candle for each of the seven chakra colors in a semi-circle in front of you starting from left to right (red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, indigo, & purple).  The candles can be placed on the floor or on a table.

2.   Sit quietly for a few moments in order to prepare yourself to receive. Light the candles, starting with red (Root Chakra) and ending with purple (Crown Chakra).

3.  Beginning with the central green candle (Heart Chakra), gaze upon each flame for one minute at a time. Then move to the red candle at the left followed by the purple candle on the right.  Continue by going to the orange then to the indigo. Complete the process by going to the yellow and  finishing with the light blue.  This  will take seven minutes. (See illustration for gazing order).

4.  While the rainbow candles remain burning, embrace all the colors.  Accept the guidance from your higher-self  as to which colors need revisiting.  Continue for another ten minutes, finishing with the green candle (Heart Chakra) to balance your system.Color Candle Rainbow Healing

5.  Extinguish the candles in order starting with the red ending with purple (It is recommended to use candle snuffer or home-made tin foil cone).  In candle healing it is suggested not to use your breath to blow out healing candles.

6.  Sit quietly for three minutes with your eyes closed, to complete healing.
