Balloon Letting Go Exercise

Sometimes it takes a unique and off-the-wall exercise to help release deeply seated emotional blockages.  Alla Svirinskaya in her book Energy Secrets The Ultimate Well-Being Plan, shares the Balloon Exercise to let go of the past.  She claims this exercise will help get rid of old matter which helps bring balance.  You will need a pack of balloons any size or color and a needle before starting Balloon Exercise below:

emotional release exercise

1.  Blow up balloon slowly. With each exhale, breathe out all the unpleasant emotions and memories you have, that you want out of your system.

2.  Once balloon is fully inflated, and full of your old “stuff”, tie a knot in it.

Balloon emotional release exercise4.  It is important not to premeditate when to pop the balloon.  Let it happen almost spontaneously.  If you can manage this, you will have a very powerful reaction.  The sudden sound will free up the energy and push the blockage out of the aura.  Keep the pack of balloons handy for more emotional release surgery!

dseer's healing giftLast week my husband was fortunate to have an uninvited visit from a beautiful buck deer that he captured on video as the animal lunched on daisy and hosta salad. When watching this video, there appears to be an amazing animal to human connection.

In Victoria Hunt’s book Animal Omens, she writes: ”Deer teaches about gentleness and caring.  It is one of the animals most often used as a helper and guide in shamanic work because its energy-force matches a human’s.

Deer is about listening from the heart with patience and love, being who you innately are and not putting on airs or letting the ego get out of hand, and not forcing your views and opinions on others who might see things differently.

If a Deer has come to you, look for the gentle, nurturing part of your spirit that needs to be shared.  By sending out kindness and love, that kindness and love will come back to you threefold.”

I pray for the safety of these magnificent animals that somehow have found their way to the suburbs.

“Summer breeze
makes me feel fine
blowing through the jasmine in my mind
Summer breeze
makes me feel fine
blowing through the jasmine in my mind.”Nature's healing breezes

I love the chorus of this Seals & Crofts song.  It reminds me how much I enjoyed running and playing in the wind as a child.  I felt invincible being with Nature’s energy breezes. As an adult, I can always count on Nature’s healing breezes when kayaking.

During my early morning walks, I am entertained by watching the fir trees dance with the breezes.  It is those early morning breezes that clears out the cobwebs and frees my mind.

“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” ~Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931)

The following quote reminds us how important it is to recognize all of Nature’s Healing Gifts: “And I learned what is obvious to a child. That is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered.” ~ Nicholas Sparks, author

forgiveness exercise brings balance & harmonyForgiveness Exercise brings Balance & HarmonyHolding onto anger, fear, or resentment drains our vitality and prevents achieving balance and harmony. Doreen Virtue offers a forgiveness exercise in her book Chakra Clearing-Awakening Your Spiritual Power to Know and Heal. She writes “This is an extremely powerful way to open up any blocked or shrunken chakras.” This exercise takes between 30 minutes or more to complete. Many of Doreen Virtue’s clients and students report the time is a worthwhile investment. Here are the steps to freedom through forgiveness:

1. Know the benefits of forgiveness:  Peacefulness and increased energy are the prizes and forgiveness is the price.  2. Take a forgiveness inventory:  Write the names of all living and deceased beings you feel have wronged or irritated you. This list could be 3 or 4 pages long and almost everyone includes their own name somewhere on the list.  3. Release and forgive:  Select a quiet place where you will have no interruptions and start going down the list one name at a time. Hold an image of the person in your mind and tell him or her, “I FORGIVE YOU AND RELEASE YOU.  I AM FREE AND YOU ARE FREE.”  It is important to complete the entire list in one setting which might take 30 minutes or more.  4. Do nightly releasements: Do a mental review of the day- is there anyone you need to forgive?  It is important not to let resentments accumulate.  Forgiveness is freeing.  Good luck!foregiveness exercise for balance & harmony

Nature's Healing Gift -Rainbows.There is nothing more healing than when nature turns a grey day into a Rainbow Day! It is magical that no two observers will ever witness exactly the same rainbow because each will view a different set of drops at a slightly different angle. Here are four inspirational rainbow quotes:

1. (Rainbows chase blues away) - “If the world’s a veil of tears, smile till rainbows span it.”~Lucy Larcom (1824-1893)

2. (Brighten other people’s life) -”Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”~Maya Angelou.

3. (Look for the Positive)“There’s a rainbow in the sky, all the time, don’t be blind.”~Ziggy Marley

4. (Aspire) -”You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down.”~Charlie Chaplin (1889-1977)

healing sounds of birds singing

Have you taken the time to listen to the healing sounds of birds singing? I am one that loves waking up very early to the sounds of  birds chirping and singing.  It is always a mystery why the beautiful singers are always hidden in the trees, while the crows walk around having no fear even when they are joined by humans traipsing around them.  They continue cawing and squawking to each other.  If you have patience and join in on their conversations, they might even talk with you. These large noisy black birds almost overshadow the singers in the trees, but I have become fascinated and very found of the crows. We learn from them that we can let our voices be heard.  Thank you our fine feathered friends for all the healing sounds you share with us.

take stairs increase vibrational frequency

Taking stairs at home, work, and especially outdoors dramatically affect your personal vibration. In Melissa Alvarez book, 365 Ways to Raise Your Frequency, she discusses the increased frequency benefits besides physical exercise with her #276 Take The Stairs. How simple to integrate taking stairs as a useful tool to get us into an “increasing frequency” mindset at any point of the day.

Going Up: Concentrate on ways to raise your energy. Focus on being positive and as you climb consider all your options where your increased vibrational frequency is going to be useful. Is it working on a special project, being more outgoing, or reading a book? When you reach the top of the stairs, start putting your positive thoughts into action.

Going Down: Taking the stairs down can accomplish a slightly different type of energy increase. Walking downstairs, release any negativity you have accumulated, and begin re-grounding yourself with each step. Imagine that all stress and excess energy is being released from the soles of your feet into the stairs.

Take the stairs to get a workout for the mind, body, and spirit.”~ Melissa Alvarez

healing power of purple sunrise

With all of the recent tragedies we must remind ourselves that mother nature doesn’t want us bowing in fear, rather, she is looking for us to live our lives in a respectful state of mindful awareness. To understand that she is not our enemy, and that the same awe-inspiring force that brings tornadoes, earthquakes and hurricanes, is the same force that creates the ‘Healing Power of A Purple Sunrise.’  We will always struggle to reconcile the pain and suffering that comes with that which we can’t control.

However, to move toward the comfort that comes with acceptance might help us find a deeper sense of truth and understanding. We can remind ourselves to look for all the beautiful healing inspirations from Mother Nature, not through the lens of expectation, but through the lens of gratitude. Our challenge today and every day is to find our Purple Sunrise and share it with as many people as possible.
