Louise L. Hay is the guru of writing affirmation books.  In her book Experience Your Good Now! Learning to Use Affirmations.  She includes numerous exercises on different ways to work with affirmations.  In chapter 3, Affirmations for Health, she has five exercises to practice. Her EXERCISE: The Power of Affirmations, she writes the following: “Let’s discover the power of written affirmations!  Writing an affirmation can intensify its power.  Write a positive affirmation about your health 25 times.”  She recommends that you create your own affirmation or use one of the following she includes in her book:

“I listen with love to my body’s messages.”

“My health is radiant, vibrant, and dynamic now.”

“I am grateful for my perfect health.”

“I deserve good health.”

“I restore and maintain my body at optimal health.”
