Goddss Wisdom-Atlantia's Ritual Chant

Here is what Amy Zerner & Monte Farber shared about Atlantia in their Goddess Guide Me Divine Wisdom For Your Head, Heart, and Home.  Atlantia is a conception of the attributes that would have been ascribed to the Goddess by women and men of the mythical lost continent of Atlantis.  In their writing,  Atlantia is Goddess of the Unexpected and the Atlantean Goddess of Invention.  She, ultimately, represents the completely independent female half of a partnership with an equally independent male.

The following Is Atlantia’s ritual and chant: MAKE THAT CHANGE!

Goddess Wisdom-Atlantia's Ritual Chant1.  Use at lease three stones or crystals to form a triangle on the ground large enough for you to sit within it cross-legged.  Hold a small drum, rattle or other percussion instrument, which represents woman’s connection to the rythyms of life.

2.  Breathe deeply and with each inhalation, visualize new and exciting changes entering your life and your triangle of power.  With every exhalation imagine the old and outdated leaving you and your triangle.  Strike your drum or shake the rattle as you recite the following words:

Goddess of the new,

Goddess of all change,

Help my situation,

Watch it rearrange.

3.  Keep reciting these words in time to the drum until you lose yourself in the chant.  You will find that when you have stopped dwelling on your situation, you will be struck with a new idea on how to proceed.  You can then leave the triangle.Goddess Wisdom-Atlantias's Ritual Chant

4.  Next move eleven things in your home, that you have not moved in a year.

5.  Give away eleven articles of clothing you have not worn in a year.

Hopefully with practicing this ritual, you will take on the roll of Atlantia and begin to address any necessary issues.   Unexpected positive results from your efforts to make changes in your life will follow.

CHANT! CHANT! CHANT!

Pasowee - Goddess of EnduranceThe Kiowa people of the North American Plains tell a story of a courageous woman who, on her return home from having escaped her kidnappers, lost her way in the forest. Crawling under the hide of a dead buffalo for protection against the cold night, she was given the Spirit of the Buffalo in her dreams. When she awoke, she knew how to find her way home and returned to her people with the Spirit of the Buffalo, providing food, medicine, clothing, shelter, and the knowledge of how to build tepees. From her gift their spirituality grew.

Pass That Test!

Pasowee - Goddess of EnduranceTo invoke the Goddess PASOWEE’s ability to see through cultural stereotypes and endure the time needed to remove all obstacles, fill a bowl with un-popped corn as an offering to Mother Earth. Burn some sage in an earthen bowl to clear the air of any clinging attachments and negativity. Wrap yourself in a blanket as PASOWEE wrapped herself in the first buffalo skin. Turn to the Four Directions; North, South, East, and West, and as you face each direction recite these words:Pasowee - Goddess of Endurance

Whenever a stressful time seems too severe to endure, wrap yourself in your blanket and repeat the ritual ten times to reinforce your connection with PASOWEE’s strength and protection.

Goddess Wisdom - Stop Worrying

I am excited to introduce this new category exploring the wisdom and rituals of different Goddesses. Today we look at Artemis the Greek Goddess of hunt, wild animals, wilderness, child birth, virginity, and protector of young girls.  The modern Artemis woman is drawn to nature.  Ancient wisdom of these images of womanhood was never completely eliminated.  The old ways of the Goddess took refuge in mid-wifery, herbal healers, witchcraft, Tarot cards, astrology, and alchemy.

Goddess Wisdom - Stop Worrying

I am hoping this new category will help to rekindle the Goddess within you. The following Artemis Wisdom is found in Goddess, Guide Me! by authors Amy Zerner & Monte Farber:

ARTEMIS’S RITUAL

THE GREEK GODDESS OF DISCERNMENT

STOP WORRYING!

To ground your worries, find a stone you are drawn to and is large enough for an inscription.  Purify it with scented soap and water.  Then dry it well.  Apply the following words to the stone’s surface with colored paints:

Worry be gone, also my fear.

Dear Mother Earth

Will ground them here.

Walk in a straight line to a place where you can bury this rock in the earth or a flower pot.  Bury the rock with conviction, knowing that what you are doing will have practical results.  As you bury it, recite the words inscribed on the rock six times.  Turn around and walk away, knowing that you have left your worries behind.
