Tuesday's Healing Words - Inner Guidance

Inner Guidance is your deepest knowing made conscious. As you learn to trust and make use of this faculty, it can become your decision maker.  Inner Guidance is ‘the still, small voice within’ that coaxes us to approach or avoid, depending upon what is in our best interest.

Tuesday's Healing Words - Inner Guidance

“Inner guidance is heard like soft music in the night by those who have learned to listen.”

~ Vernon Howard

“The body has its own way of knowing, a knowing that has little to do with logic, and much to do with truth, little to do with control, and much to do with acceptance, little to do with division and analysis, and much to do with union.”

 ~ Marilyn Sewell

“Our inner guidance comes to us through our feelings and body wisdom first — not through intellectual understanding. The intellect works best in service to our intuition, our inner guidance, soul, God or higher power – whichever term we choose for the spiritual energy that animates life.”

January 5 – The Creative Power Within

“As we open to the higher power of the universe and consciously allow the creative energy to move through us, we learn that we can create our own reality and take responsibility for doing so.”

“The creative power of the universe is now flowing through me.”

Internationally renowned author and teacher Shakti Gawain, describes the Pink Bubble Visualization Technique in her book Creative Visualization – Using the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life. Learning to visualize is one of the most empowering skills you can learn when it comes to healing your body. The more detailed the visual process is, the more effective the results will be.

How to Use the Pink Bubble Technique:

pink bubble technique1. Sit or lie down and relax.   Close your eyes and focus your mind on your breath.  Go deeper and deeper into relaxation.

2. Imagine something that you would like to manifest.  Imagine that it has already happened. See, feel and sense. Picture it as clearly as you can.

3. In your mind’s eye, place this vision or goal inside a pink bubble. Pink is associated with the heart. It represents your heart’s desire.

6. Let go of the bubble and imagine it floating off into the universe, containing your vision. This symbolizes that you are  emotionally “letting go” of it.  The bubble and its contents are free  to float around in the universe, attracting and gathering energy for its manifestation.

Shakti Gawain writes in Reflections in the Light Daily – Thoughts and Affirmations, January 9:

affirmation by shakti gawainHer thoughts: “Emptiness is filled from the inside

When we are most unhappy we have a starved feeling in some way. We feel that life in general and other people in particular are not giving us what we need. We try desperately to grasp the love and satisfaction that we crave from outside. Yet we are actually choking off the supply. The new world is based on trust of the universe within us. We recognize that the creative intelligence and energy of the universe is the fundamental source of everything. Once we connect with this and surrender to it, everything is ours. Emptiness is filled from the inside.”

Her affirmation: “I am being filled from the source within me.”
