healingaffirmationsrashesIt has been proven that healing affirmations can really work.  Affirmations for healing are positive sentences with the intent to be imprinted into the subconscious mind.  We do have to know how to use them correctly, and that can take some time and patience.  Positive affirmations can make a tremendous difference in the speed and quality of any healing process.  It helps to take a healing phrase (one found or writing your own) and write it out maybe 5 – 10 times to memorize and feel emotionally connected to what the words mean to you.  Next begin repeating the affirmation throughout the day.  Continue repeating the affirmation for 30 days for the best healing results.  Below I have included what several experts report why many of us suffer from rashes.  I have also included an affirmation for those suffering from rash or hives.

Rash:  Irritation over delays.  Hives: Small hidden fears, Mountains out of molehills.  (Heal Your Body, by Louise L. Hay).   Rash:  Oversensitive, insecure, fearful.  Self-imposed limitations that irritate or do not serve you.  Small explosions of anger erupting on your skin.  Feeling threatened by  someone or something.  Suppressed emotions that can no longer be pushed down (The Secret Language of Your Body, by Inna Segal).

Affirmation for Rash: ”I love and approve of myself.  I am at peace with the process of life”, (Louise L. Hay).  Affirmation for Hives:  “I bring peace to every corner of my life”, (Louise L. Hay).  REMEMBER FEEL FREE TO WRITE YOUR OWN AFFIRMATIONS.

This beautiful song from the album ‘River of Breath’ performed by John Adorney and Daya, produced 2002 by Dunrite productions, Inc. continues to be inspiration and grounding music for me.  I immediately start swaying and dancing when the music starts playing.  Here are the words to the 4th song ‘River of Breath‘:  This beautiful wind * This beautiful  wind   * This beautiful sail * Is blowing within *  That catches the wind * Caught by the sail *  With every breath * With every breath *  This fountain of life * This fountain of life *   Is flowing inside * (this is so real) *  This river of breath * This river of breath *  Runs through you * Runs through you *  This motion *  This moment.

I HOPE YOU CHECK THIS OUT ON THE INTERNET ALONG WITH MY FAVORITE SONG ON THIS ALBUM CALLED “FIND A MIRACLE.”

“I’ve always been in the right place at the right time. Of course, I steered myself there.”

teddybeardoingtriplewarmerspleenhugIt is nice to get to know more about the Meridians.  In Donna Eden’s book, Energy Medicine for Women, she mentions that the Triple Warmer is one of the body’s most potent and least understood energy systems.  It governs: 1.The immune system 2. The emergency response to threat (fight, flee or freeze) and 3. The ability to form physiological and behavioral habits for managing stress or threat.  Donna has several Triple Warmer exercises which will be covered in my posts in the future.  Today, we will look at the Triple Warmer/Spleen Hug.  It is recommended to use this exercise anytime you are upset or need comfort.

This position simultaneously calms Triple Warmer while energizing the Spleen Meridian:  Wrap your left hand around your right arm just above the elbow.  Wrap the right arm around the left side of your body, underneath your breast.  Hold this position for at least three deep breaths.  Reverse sides.

This is a powerful book that proves how important Western Medicine and Alternative Medicine can be comrades in the battle against disease.   Dr. Gaynor has done more for advancing the knowledge of sound healing power in the western world than anyone else.  His book is filled with a wealth of information with exercises on how to use toning, sound healing, singing bowls and music. His book discusses how many of his patients recovered from life-threatening illneses when including sound therapy along with their prescribed western regime.  Please be sure to check out sound/chants categories where I will be featuring different sound healing exercises in this book.  I promise this is not boring, stuffy reading, it is facinating.  I give it 5 stars.

Roaringlioncleansing, releasingforpainIn Mitchell L. Gaynor, M.D.’s book, ‘The Healing Power of Sound’, he discusses specific toning exercise.  He states “Moaning and groaning are cleansing sounds that come naturally when aches and pains are being released.  High-pitched, penetrating sounds, or even fierce screaming can help break up energy blockages that may have led to emotional and physical armoring.  Release the sound that you feel from within.  It may be a bloodcurdling, terrifying scream that could go on for several minutes, until it may actually end in laughter.  Releasing a scream that has been held in for decades can be a joyous, liberating experience.”

I know this works.  If you find it difficult to let out a bloodcurdling scream, how about a fierce roar?   NO KITTY ROAR, purring is for toning later.

Angeles Arrien, is one of my most favorite authors. The following is quoted from her book, The Four-Fold Way.   Where in my life did I stop dancing?  Where in my life did I stop singing?  Where in my life did I stop being enchanted with stories? Where in life did I become uncomfortable with the sweet territory of silence?”

The vibrational energy healing we receive from dancing, singing, actively involved in story-telling, and the empowerment of silence touches the very essence of who we are and brings much joy, balance, and spiritual harmony.  Please allow yourself to dance, sing, listen or tell a story today, and allow time for well-deserved cherished silence.

innerchildessentialoil

I have found the following essential oil very important when working with women that have been abused as a child.  The following has been written about this product:

“Inner Child™  Essential Oil opens the pathway to connecting with the inner self that may have been damaged through childhood misuse or abuse.  When children have been abused they become disconnected from their natural identity or inner child.  This causes confusion and can contribute to undesirable personality traits.  The sweet fragrance of this blend may stimulate memory response and help reconnect with the authentic self, which is one of the first steps toward finding emotional balance.”

Gratitude’s Healing Power

This Thanksgiving I am so grateful sharing with women helpful exercises for increasing their energy, health and well-being.  Today lets honor Gratitude by practicing Gratitude Sacred Breathing:  Take time for yourself  to breathe deeply into your abdomen.  Breathe in to the count of 6, hold for 1, and breathe out to the count of 6.  On the in breath, speak silently “I am so blessed,” and on the out breath, speak silently “I am so grateful.”  Repeat this for 5 minutes, and notice how energized and positive you feel.  This is a great way to start your day on a positive, high-energy note.

Oh my aching feet, or not. This might not be a pretty picture but it represents something amazing. The red dot graphic foot marks the Kidney One acupressure point on the Kidney Meridian.  If you were to take a hold of your foot and place the thumb on that location, it would definitely relieve an aching foot.  What else can benefit from applying pressure to the Kidney One acupressure point?  It can help regulate blood pressure, relieves dizziness and faintness, clears the mind, improve  memory, concentration, and mental alertness.  It can help hot flashes, relieving anxiety, restores energy and increases general vitality in the body.
