Flower Essence Connects Destiny/Passion

Flower essences are botanical medicines made from wildflowers. They were first developed by Dr. Edward Bach, a British bacteriologist, in the 1930s. After years of research, he discovered 38 flower-based remedies and recommended them for helping patients restore emotional balance. Since that time, further research has been done and hundreds of other flower remedies have been classified.

Flower Essence Connects Destiny & PassionIn my practice, I find flower essences very beneficial when applied topically from the stock bottle in a variety of non-oral ways.  Today, I want to share the following treatment taken from the book, Floral Acupuncture, by Deborah Craydon, C.F.E.P., & Warren Bellows, LIC. A.C. This is a treatment for opening not only to your destiny but also to passion for your destiny task in life.

You will need Holly & Wild Oat Flower Essences ( I recommend Bach), a bowl of 4-6 ounces of water, and cotton balls. Due to the energetic nature of flower essences, it is important to not let the glass dropper touch anything other than the flower essence itself in order to keep the essence as potent as possible.

CONNECTING YOUR DESTINY WITH YOUR PASSIONFlower Essence Connects Destiny & Passion

Holly & Wild Oat Flower Essences  are  applied directly to the Governing Vessel 4 acupressure point known as the Gate of Destiny.  This acupressure (acupuncture) point is where the Element of Water (Wild Oat) ascends and the Element of Fire (Holly) descends.

This is a treatment for opening not only to your destiny but also to passion for your destiny task in life.

Dream Catcher With Essential OIl

I am completing a seven week on-line course with author & teacher Robert Moss on dreaming wide awake.  Naturally it has me thinking about the Native American Dream Catchers.  They were woven by the grandfathers and grandmothers for newborn children and hung above the cradleboard to give the infants peaceful, beautiful dreams.  Now we see Dream Catchers hanging from mirrors in cars, in windows catching sun beams, over one’s bed, and like my hand-made one hanging over my desk. (There are easy directions to make Dream Catchers on line…it is fun and very therapeutic.)

Massaging the bottom of the feet is exceptionally effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body. I like to roll my knuckles up and down the foot, which basically connects with most of the Vita Flex Points.

Sinus Relief From Essential OIls & More

Rub Thieves and Peppermint 100% therapeutic grade essential oil on the sinus pressure points located on the tips of the toes.  This can be done once or twice a day.  Then to bring additional sinus relief, squeeze the toe tips one by one.  These reflexology points, when pressed, help the sinuses to drain also over time can aid in the prevention of sinus infection.  This is a simple exercise that can be done while watching your favorite TV series.

Additional Sinus Relief-Toe Nail Pressure Points:

The red points illustrated above on the toe nails act as pressure points.  These will improve circulation in the sinus regions and help to unclog and drain sinuses.  Gently applied pressure to these points on both feet will do the trick.

Reflexology for Adrenal Glands

The Adrenal Glands sits like a tiny pyramid on top of a kidney and are about the size of walnut.  These powerful little hormone producing glands manufacture and secrete almost 50 different hormones.    They are what helps keep your body’s reactions to stress in balance.

Reflexology for Adrenal GlandsLocation:  The reflexology point for the adrenals is a small circle located above the Kidney point. You have one on the sole of each foot, at the center of the arch (see illustration).

Conditions Aided by Massaging This Point:  Adrenal function, stress, anxiety, anger, & vitality.

Treatment:  Begin by kneading the center of the arch with the heel of your hand.  Then make a fist and roll the knuckles from the arch toward the heel, gradually increasing the amount of pressure.  Press one knuckle into the Adrenal Point, massaging in a circular motion.  Finish by holding your thumb firmly on this spot for about 30 seconds.  Repeat reflexology treatment on the other foot.

Beneficial Essential Oils:  To enhance results, you can use massage oil or lotion that contains essential oil of lavender, orange or rose 100% therapeutic essential oil to reduce stress.

Brain Vita Flex Helps InsomniaVita Flex Technique means “vitality through the reflexes”.  It can also mean relaxing through the reflexes.  It is a specialized form of hand and foot massage that is exceptionally effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils.  For some of us after the age 40, sleep quality and quantity changes noticeably as melatonin production in the brain declines.

Today I want to share this simple technique to help combat insomnia.  This following technique using 100% therapeutic essential oils and massaging the Brain Vita Flex Points can help:
