Tuesday's Healing Word Positive ThoughtsPositive thoughts are mini-affirmations.  In Louise L. Hay’s book Experience Your Good Now! she writes: “Affirmations are like planting seeds in the ground.  First they germinate, then they sprout roots, and then they shoot up through the ground.  It takes some time to go from a seed to a full-grown plant.  And so it is with affirmations—it takes some time from the first declaration to the final demonstration.  Be patient.”Tuesday's Healing Words Positive Thoughts

”Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.”

they will shine out of your face like sunbeams

Connecting with Inner Child

Connecting with our inner child is one of my favorite topics and author Louise Hay shares the following in her book,  Experience Your Good Now! Learning to Use Affirmations.

Connecting with Inner Child

She writes “When you’re in a state of anxiety or fear that keeps you from functioning, you may have abandoned your inner child.  Think of some ways in which you can reconnect with your inner child.  What could you do for fun?  What could you do that is just for you?

She suggests you list 15 ways in which you could have fun with your inner child such as: 1. Reading good books,  2. Going to movies,  3. Gardening,  4. Journaling,  5. Enjoying a bubble bath.  Okay now think about child-like activities.  These could be even more beneficial such as: 1. Swinging,   2. Drawing with crayons,  3.  Climbing a tree,  4. Playing hide ‘n seek,  What would be on your list?

Connecting with Inner Child

 “Once you’ve made your list,

try at least one activity each day.

Let the healing begin!

Look at all you’ve discovered!

Keep going—you can create such fun

for you and your inner child!”

~Louise L. Hay
